I still have FilmPack 3-which is two versions old, and which DxO gave away some years ago-and it works fine to process my raw files in Optics Pro (haven't yet tried it in PhotoLab, but assume it will work fine). If you look at the chart for FilmPack at, it says that support for raw files exists in the Elite edition but not in the Essential edition, but for standalone processing only. Whether you can also use them to process raw files in standalone mode may depend on which version you get. In the integrated mode, you can use these tools as part of the raw processing. The DxO software ancillary to PhotoLab and formerly Optics Pro-both ViewPoint and FilmPack-can work either as a stand-alone processing tool or seamlessly integrated with PhotoLab / Optics Pro. This is probably literally true, but might mislead some. If you have OP/PL and want the VP tools, you have to get a VP license and use the plugin. Also: VP only operates on JPEG or TIFF images it does not process raw images.
